Meet the O’Neills

Hello!

We are Dave and Zoe and we have 3 daughters now between 8 and 14. We absolutely love holidaying in Weymouth and the wider Jurassic Coast and have been with our family lots of times over the years.

We bought Sunnyside as a family project to allow us to enjoy more time in our favourite place. We stay at Sunnyside one weekend a month allowing us to “road test” our holiday home to ensure our guests have everything they need.

We like to think we notice the little things, the important things. If a couple of glasses are broken or the vinegar for the all important fish and chips is getting empty we notice! We regularly cook, including roasts meaning we check all the usual equipment is there and in good order.

Enjoying family time in Weymouth

The girls often check the board games have all the pieces but we must confess we don’t do the 1000 piece jigsaws every visit so we’ll just have to hope those have been looked after 😉

Whilst we always have lots of general maintenance to keep us busy at Sunnyside we do make sure we have some family time together exploring and enjoying days out in Weymouth, Portland and surrounding areas . We just love leaving the car and getting out and about in Weymouth whether its a nice walk around the nature reserve or coast, enjoying the buzz in the harbour or chilling on the beach (in all weathers!!). In the holidays we like to explore the wider Jurrassic coast and surrounding areas. It means we can help our guests with ideas for things to do. We do try and write some blogs of their thoughts of the day out so keep an eye for “news” on our website.
